This policy is not legal advice.
Who we are
Evolve Agency makes HEIC Convertly for iPhone and iPad. This policy covers that app and this website. It does not cover other products.
Data collected
The app collects none. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising identifier, and no crash-reporting SDK. No third party receives personal data from the app. The App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected: no tracking, no collected data types, and no third-party SDKs.
Photos and files
Photos and files are processed on the device. The developer does not receive them. You can save, share, or export them through Apple’s own sheets. Those actions are yours.
iCloud
If a selected photo is not on the device, iOS may download it. This app does not run that transfer.
Permissions
The Photos picker and Files do not need full library access. Save to Photos requests add-only access when you tap Save, so the app can add the new image and cannot browse the library.
Temporary files
Copies used for conversion live in the app temporary folder. They are deleted on launch and before the next batch’s output. They are not sent off the device, and they are not a photo library. The app does not log file names or photo contents.
Metadata choices
The app offers three metadata choices:
- Keep metadata leaves the metadata in place.
- Remove location only removes the GPS dictionary and asks ImageIO to exclude GPS. It is not a promise that every camera-maker private note is gone.
- Remove all metadata removes the EXIF, IPTC, GPS, Maker Apple, and XMP metadata the app controls. A converted file can still contain technical fields the format needs, such as pixel size and color information.
Purchases
Apple processes the payment for Unlock Unlimited. The app stores an unlock flag on the device so it can remember the purchase. That flag is not a photo and is not sent to the developer.
The website
This site is static. The pages load the Meta Pixel. The pixel is not in the app, and it does not receive your photos.
The pixel sets a cookie and sends Meta which pages you open, plus general browser and device data, so visits and ads can be measured. Meta’s own policy covers what Meta stores.
You can email [email protected].
If you use the contact, issue, or feature form on the support page, the name, email address, and message you type are sent to Formspree so Evolve Agency can read them and reply. That happens only when you submit a form. The app does not send those fields.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect their data. This website is not directed at children under 13.
Retention and deletion
There is no account and no server copy of your photos to delete. Deleting the app removes its local unlock cache and temporary files. Apple keeps its own purchase record. Restoring a purchase uses Apple’s Restore Purchases.
Visit data from the Meta Pixel stays with Meta. This site does not keep a copy of it.
A form message lives with Formspree and in the inbox that receives it. Email [email protected] if you want that message deleted.
